What Do You Need Before You Start?

How Do We Apply a UV DTF Sticker Step by Step?
Step 1 — Clean the surface. We wipe the application area with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely. Any dust, oil, or moisture underneath will cause bubbling or peeling later.
Step 2 — Peel the backing paper, not the top film. UV DTF transfers have two layers: a white paper backing (which comes off first) and a clear top film (which stays on for now). We peel only the paper backing to expose the sticky adhesive side.
Step 3 — Position before you press. Because the adhesive bonds instantly, we line the sticker up exactly where we want it before any part touches the surface. For tricky placements like curved tumblers, we like to lightly rest one edge down first as an anchor point, then roll the rest into place.
Step 4 — Squeegee from the center out. Using a card or squeegee, we press firmly starting at the middle of the design and work outward in overlapping strokes. This pushes trapped air toward the edges instead of sealing it inside.
Step 5 — Peel off the clear top film. After firm pressure across the whole design, we slowly peel back the top transfer film at a low angle. If any part of the sticker lifts with the film, we lay it back down and press again before continuing.
Step 6 — Final press. One more pass with the squeegee locks the edges down and gives the sticker its permanent bond.
Does UV DTF Need Heat or Curing Time?

UV DTF ink is already fully cured by UV light during printing, so the sticker is durable and ready to use the moment it's applied.
